What is Sheepskin?
Sheepskin is the hide of a Sheep, unlike common Leather, Sheepskin is tanned with the fleece intact, as in a pelt. The fleece of Sheepskin has excellent insulating properties. The wool is considered by the medical profession to be hypoallergenic.

Whats the difference between Sheepskin and Lambskin?
Lambskin comes from a younger Sheep making it softer and lighter in weight than Sheepskin. What is the best way to clean sheepskin? Will my Sheepskin Slippers stretch with wear?
Yes your Sheepskin Slippers will stretch and mold to the shape of your feet with wear, so when you are buying a pair of Sheepskin Slippers you want a nice snug fit rather than a loose fit.
How do I know which of your products are made in the UK?
On the majority of our products we have a flag next to the product name, If a product has been made in the UK it will have the union jack flag on the web page.
Can I wear Sheepskin Footwear in the summer without getting too hot?
Sheepskin has a natural temperature control. It has the ability to keep you warm when it is cold and cool when it is warm.
Why do some Sheepskin Boots slouch?
Some Sheepskin Boots do not come with reinforced heels, this will cause the boot to slouch. All of our Sheepskin Boots are made with reinforced heels to prevent slouching. Another cause for slouching is if the boots are too big.
Whats the largest size footwear you sell?
We cater for nearly all size of feet, we currently stock some of our male and female Slippers up to a size 16. We also currently stock our sheepskin boots up to around size 9.
Are your Sheepskin Slippers OK to wear outdoors?
Yes all of our footwear is suitable for outdoor usage however they may get dirty, please see our care and cleaning guides for more information on washing your sheepskin products.
How do I know what glove size I am?

- Measure your dominant hand - the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed.
Are Sheepskin Boots waterproof?
No genuine Sheepskin Boots are not waterproof, they are however somewhat water resistant so in light rain your sheepskin boots should be fine as long as you have protected them with a water stop protector suitable for Sheepskin.
What is Shearling?
Shearling is a Sheepskin or Lambskin pelt of a yearling Sheep that has only been shorn once to obtain a uniform depth of the wool fibers for a uniform look and feel. Contrary to misconceptions, Shearling is not shorn wool. The pelts are tanned with the wool still on them.
What is Merino Sheepskin?
Merino Sheepskin is a breed of Sheep prized for its Wool. Merino Sheep originally come from turkey and Spain, they are regarded as having some of the finest and softest wool of any Sheep. Many Merino Sheep are now reared in Australia and New Zealand.
What is Toscana Sheepskin?
Toscana Sheepskins and Lambskins are characterised by their beautifully soft long fur like wool. Many people on appearance believe Toscana Sheepskin to be real fur. The pelts of the Spanish Toscana Sheep offer fantastic insulation making them one of the best Sheepskins to keep you warm in the coldest of weather. Toscana Sheepskin is lighter and softer when compared to most other Sheepskins making it one of the finest.
What is Double Faced Sheepskin?
Double faced Sheepskin is a single layer of Sheepskin with the outer face being tanned hide and the inner being thick fleece. The wool on Double Faced Sheepskin does not shed because it is attached to the skin.
